Optimas Foundation Charity Program

The Hong Kong Society of the Blind

Optimas Foundation has made two donations to The Hong Kong Society of the Blind in Aug-2019 and Nov-2019 to support the organization’s drive to improve well-being of the visually impaired.

We donated HK$25,000 in support of “Let Them Shine” project, performed by the Cheers Band. The Band, consisted of a group of visually and mentally impaired, performed and recorded choir pieces after months of extremely difficult practice and rehearsals.

In Nov-2019, we supported the Hong Kong Society of the Blind to update and upgrade to the latest version of the audio book players that are placed in the Centre’s library. The audio books and periodicals help to foster their reading interests and enable them to participate in mainstream cultural activities.
