Mr. Wong is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer.  He is  a veteran in HK/China equity market with 19 years of experience in equity business, equities sales and research as well as investment management. Throughout his career, he has held various senior positions at leading financial houses which include Head of HK/China Research & Sales at Credit Suisse, Head of HK/China Research & Sales at BofAML, and Head of Regional Oil & Gas research at UBS. Besides his extensive experiences in top tier sell-side houses, he was also a Portfolio Manager at Och-Ziff from 2008-2009. Mr. Wong received a Master in Finance from the London Business School.

Mr. Wong is the Co-Founder and Head of Capital Market.  He has 19 years of experience in equity businesses, ranging from sales, investment banking and private equity investments. Most recently he served as Head of Asia Ex-Japan Equity Distribution at Nomura since 2013, and prior to that he was Head of Greater China Equity Sales at Merrill Lynch since 2009, where he led the #1 ranked HK/CN equity sales team in Institutional Investor for 3 consecutive years. Previously, he also worked at Citigroup global markets and Credit Suisse First Boston as HK/China Equity Sales and research analyst. He was ranked #1 HK/China equity sales by Asia Money for 2007 and 2008. During his career in investment banking, Mr. Wong has consistently led and driven HK/China primary and secondary equity capital market transactions.

Mr. Cheung is the Head of Business Development.  He has 20 years of experience in Greater China equity markets. Until Nov 2017, he headed all HK based Equity sales (HK/China and Regional) at Credit Suisse, and is also responsible for the Equity sales efforts at Credit Suisse Founders (China onshore platform). Prior to Credit Suisse, Ronald was the Head of Hong Kong and China Equity Sales at UBS, responsible for managing a sales team of over 15 people, in Hong Kong and UBS securities (UBS joint venture entity in A shares) in Shanghai. He was also responsible for strategizing and supervising institutional clients coverage for both HK/China and A share markets. Prior to UBS, he spent 2 years with the Mergers and Acquisitions department in the Investment Banking division of Merrill Lynch, New York as a financial analyst. Ronald completed his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Pennsylvania, in the Huntsman International Studies and Business program, double majoring in Business (Finance and Accounting concentrations in the Wharton School of Business) and International Studies. Ronald is a CFA Charter holder.

Mr. Ching covers the Consumer sector.  He has 14 years of experience in consumer equity research with focus in HK/China. Prior to joining Optimas, Mr. Ching was the head of Greater China Consumer Team at Credit Suisse from 2016 to 2017. Before that, he covered Consumer in BofA Merrill Lynch and Bear Stearns.  Mr. Ching holds a Master of Finance degree from City University of Hong Kong.

Ms. Fung is the Chief Operating Officer.  She has 17 years of experience in managing operations and finance in an investment manager and an investment bank. Prior to joining Optimas Capital, she was the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Azentus Capital since inception in 2011. Azentus Capital, a spin out of Goldman Sachs Principal Strategies (GSPS), manages a Global Equity Long Short Fund with an Asia focus. Prior to Azentus Capital, she was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs and the Business Unit Manager for GSPS. Jenie joined Goldman Sachs in 2004 as a product controller and GSPS in 2008. Prior to that, she was an assistant manager at KPMG LLP Montreal, Canada, in the assurance practice focusing on financial institutions and real estate companies. Jenie holds a Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy and a Bachelor of Commerce Honors in Accounting and Concentration in Finance from McGill University. She is a Chartered Accountant from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and a CFA Charter holder.

Mr. Jiang is the Chief Investment Officer of the Private Equity Fund. He has over 20 years of M&A and corporate finance experience. Most recently, he served various senior roles in leading investment banks, including Managing Director/Asia Head of Natural Resources Group for Deutsche Bank, and Managing Director/China Head of M&A for Goldman Sachs. Prior to that, Mr. Jiang held a number of senior management positions in the energy industry, including Senior M&A Director, Assistant CFO and Joint Company Secretary for CNOOC Ltd. Mr. Jiang holds an MBA degree from Kelly School of Business, Indiana University, Master degree in Energy Management and Economics from Mattei School in Milan, Italy, and Bachelor degree in Law from China University of Political Science and Law.

Mr. Lu is the Head of Trading. He has 16 years of experience in trading & execution of various products. Prior to Optimas, he was co-team-leader of the China-focused sales trading team in Credit Suisse and oversaw major greater China accounts. Before that, he worked in cash and derivatives sales trading desk at UBS. Mr. Lu graduated with a First-Class Honours Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Edinburgh.

Mr. Zhou covers the Internet sector.  He has 14 years of experience in equity research, prior to joining Optimas, he served as the Head of Hong Kong/China Internet Research at Credit Suisse, leading #1 ranked team in the Institutional Investor for 2014 and 2015. Prior to that, Evan was Internet Analyst at J.P. Morgan and participated the IPOs of 13 China TMT companies including Alibaba, Baidu, JD.com, NetEase, Ctrip, Weibo, VIP and etc. Mr. Zhou holds an MBA degree from Columbia University Business School. Prior to MBA, Evan worked at Oracle for 5 years as a lead project manager.
